A Mysterious Pond

I found "Blue Lake" was smaller than a lake and the color was darker than blue.
Hmmm...it's hard to show how the pond looked mysterious...but please just look.
What do you think? How do you feel?

All ponds there but this one were green.
It was dark indigo blue and very clear. We could see some trees sunk on the bottom of it.
Scientists haven't solved the reason why the water looks so blue.
It's still a mystery.

My sister had a nice camera.
Today she's posted lots of lots of Hana's photos.

Well, I also enjoyed my train trip.
My favorite view was this one from my train window.

It's Japan Sea located in west of Japan, so the sun sets into it beautifully everyday..
....like this

  • Hi~!
Um...honestly, the picture of lake is different from what I imagined. But the picture of sea and evening sunlight is sooo beautiful! Especially, I love the pic of evening sunlight;-) Maybe you could see more beautiful evening sunlight.

By the way, I like Business English class☆ Last year, I took Ⅰand this year, I'm taking Ⅱ. I'm not sure that is a good class for me because the class doesn't be started in earnest. And, in my English classes, we do various things. In Communication class, we talk each other in English and in reading class, we read an English boook about Japan. It is like this.
Sorry, I wrote long sentences this time...Bye~

  • I think it is probably hard to capture on camera, especially when you are trying to communicate the strangeness you felt. Isn't it weird how it is different from all the other ponds in the area? I definitely want to go up there to see it for myself one day.

It looks like you really enjoyed your trip. I also think the pictures by the sea are beautiful; it seems to be quite a romantic train ride.

  • I love your pictures, especially that of the sunset. To be honest, this is the first time I have heard of “Blue Lake.” I am sometimes surprised how many things I don’t know.. I have to become as curious and adventurous as you!!

  • Blue Pond is its actual name..I mistook.

It's located in Shirakami Mountain Range.
You know? It's not only beautiful but also.....I think nobody believes it, so I'll keep it secret. ^___^

    Please gaze at the picture.
You can absorb the mysterious power from it. I'm serious.

  • It's kinda hard to see in the picture, but it looks like the surface of a mirror. I'm sure I can see the reflection of the tree. Is it really reflective?
