Salsa
Do you dance salsa? Or have you danced salsa?
I'm now very interested in the latin dance. My colleague and I are planning to join a dancing school where my friend is practicing every Saturday.
I asked another friend who had once been in a salsa school. She really liked it but her exboyfriend asked her to stop it 'cause, you know, salsa is one of the most passionate dances that a woman and a guy dance very close together.
She said, "be careful, Peach" and told us one surprising thing: after practicing, they had "free time" to just enjoy dancing to latin music. Some of latin dancers suddenly kissed her while they were dancing. It's weird in Japan but perhaps, it might be natural for them. So she had to dodge it whenever "kiss attack" started.
Scary ( =_= )
I didn't know such a dangerous style!!!

Salsa is not the most passionate, Tango is.
Kiss where? On the chick? That's nothing hahahaha when we meet someone we don't know we kiss twice, one on every cheek. But I'm sure you know ;)
If you don't trust your couple... something fishy is out there.
I'll check out TANGO!
and I learned the greeting style.
First meeting; shaking hands
After that; kissing twice on both sides of cheeks each other.
Cool! Cool! Do you do like that? Always? Is it natural? Aren't you feel embarrassed at all?
I'm really interested in that style.

As you said, Japanese don't get used to shake hands or kiss as greetings. Sometimes I'm offered my hand even in Japan, but I couldn't shake hands naturally.
I like western friendly styles like shaking hands, making eye contacts and doing lady first.
Some colleagues, who have studied business in foreign universities, DO shaking hands as business greetings, so I think the style is gradually becoming common here in Japan. But to tell you the truth, I've never been asked to shake hands on business.

Oh, that's funny. I didn't know they do such a thing!
Maybe it is common for them!?
But dancing is very enjoyable and good exercise!
I agree with you. Dancing is fun!
Jenifer Aniston was dancing salsa in the movie called "Along Came Polly".
That was pretty cool.
