herb

I'm raising herbs on my veranda.
It's like my tiny little garden.

You can see what they are: one is basil and the other is mint.
(this photo is of basil. Upload a photo of mint doesn't go well because of a server problem.)

Whenever I water them, they smell very nice and I imagine myself cooking tomato spaghetti with fresh basil.

It's one of the most relaxing time of day.

  • ^^ I love basil with pasta~ I have never tried to grow my own basil before though... Usually i buy fresh basil leaves from the supermarket.

Previously, i ate at a Vietnamese restaurant. They served fresh basil leaves together with the salad. Have you tried eating basil that way before? It was my first time, quite an experience. Many of my colleagues hated it. LOL

  • Hey! We have some of them in our garden too. We sometimes make tea with the mint.

  • Hi, Peach

Raising fresh herbs is practical and interesting. You can also try raising parsely, it's also quite useful.

Off-topic: I'm guessing your name is momo or momoko, because peach=momo. Tell me if I guessed right. (^_^)
